We hit the ground running in gorgeous Copenhagen. We are blown away by a city of gentle sophistication constantly bathed in beautiful light. Life is chilled here and so are we!
Denmark is rich in history so we delve into it by visiting Fredericksborg and Kronborg Castles.
Moving right along we travel by overnight ferry which is affectionately known as the Party Boat, to Oslo in Norway. We immediately feel a very different city which we fall in love with at every turn.
We venture into some ot the most breathtaking scenery you will ever see. Trains, ferries and a coach are our modes of transport as we traverse Norway from east to west. Our journey takes us from Oslo to Bergen through the beautiful Fjord regions. We are loving Scandinavia.
On leaving Norway we instantly embrace Stockholm and all things Swedish…. yes including Sven. The city’s underground serves as a wonderful art gallery. The restaurants serve up gastronomic feasts and the abundance of museums don’t disappoint. There might even have been a bit of impromptu karaoke with ABBA!
Sadly our adventures come to an end in Helsinki, Finland. We make the most of our last day and take home a million memories and just a few souvenirs! Thank you to my travelling sisters – you make travelling a joy!
