Join us for a unique experience in a privately owned castle.

Meet us at T intersection of Lonsdale & Spencer Street.

Meet your Sisterhood Tour Hostess and Rosa II, our pink bus, at 12.00 pm for our short drive to Overnewton Castle, a privately owned property in Keilor Village.  Overnewton is built in the Victorian Tudor style, inspired by 16th-century English & Scottish architecture. The Scottish baronial style is characterised by its rough-textured masonry, steep-pitched roofs, and overhanging battlement corner turrets. The candle snuffer roofs show the influence of the French architecture. The years have been kind to Overnewton; today, it remains essentially unchanged from when it was initially built. Hidden away amongst the old trees, it has seen many changes throughout the years. Gone are the days of horse and carriages, gas light, and servants, but the old world grace and charm, along with the elegance, grandeur, and atmosphere of a bygone era, remain. Having been restored over the years and an elegant dining room added to the estate, this is definitely a hidden treasure.

We then enjoy a lovely high tea, relaxing with friends, including a selection of delicate pastries, fluffy scones, jam and cream, English tea sandwiches, and petite fours with free-flowing Twinning’s Tea and Vittoria Coffee. Afterwards, we'll enjoy a historical tour of Overnewton Castle, including the gardens, before returning to our drop-off point around 4.30 pm.
