Itinerary
Day 1 - Saturday 2 April 2022
Melbourne - Adelaide
Welcome to Sisterhood Womens Travel. Meet your Tour Hostess and fellow travellers at the Melbourne Aiport for your flight to Adelaide. Upon arrival we are transferd to our central Adelaide hotel. Later in the afternoon we will enjoy an Adelaide city highlights tour where we will experience the cosmopolitan city of Adelaide takiing in its main attractions and points of interest. Followed by a scenic cruise down the River Torrens on one of Adelaide's iconic 'Popeye' cruises.

Day 2 - Sunday 3 April 2022
Victor Harbor and McLaren Vale (B, L)
Today we will enjoy a delightful tour of South Australia’s premier tourist region, the Fleurieu Peninsula. Our tour begins with a picturesque coach ride through the Adelaide Hills to the historical Scottish settlement of Strathalbyn. Here we will stop for some free time and morning tea in High Street (own expense). Continue on to the paddle steamer town of Goolwa where we will have a brief tour of the town's wharf, barrage and beach. We will then board the Coclke Train for the short journey to Victor Harbor upon arrival at Victor Harbor, wander through the main street, sampling the fresh local product. Later we will enjoy a 2 course lunch at the Hotel Victor. Our tour then continues to the wine making region of McLaren Vale, best known for producing outstanding Shiraz. Wander the main street, sample the fresh local produce including the delicious cheeses at Blessed Cheese, taste some of the fine wines or grab a coffee at one of the many cafés. From here we visit Beresford Wines for tasting of either Gin, Beer or Wine before returning to Adelaide.

Day 3 - Monday 4 April 2022
Hahndorf and Adelaide Hills (B L)
This morning we will depart our hotel for an tour of the Adelaide Hills and Hahndorf. Wind your way through the Adelaide Hills villages of Crafers, Stirling, Aldgate and Bridgewater before arriving at Jurlique Farm for a tour and shopping for uniquie skin care products, then on to Beerenberg Farm Shop, where there is time to taste and purchase from their full range of products. Then it’s on to Hahndorf, Australia’s oldest German settlement. Spend the afternoon exploring the main street of Hahndorf where we can sample local produce, check out the local arts and crafts before enjoying a 2 course lunch at the very popular Hahndorf Inn. Travel back to Adelaide via Mount Lofty Summit, Adelaide’s highest peak. Take in the spectacular views of the city and the coastline – a perfect photo opportunity. Finish the day with a visit to Cleland Wildife Park.

Day 4 - Tuesday 5 April 2022
Barossa Valley (B, L)
This morning we will enjoy a full day tour to the Barossa Valley. Our first stop is a visit to Maggie Beer’s Farm Shop, an absolute must whilst visiting the Barossa. Maggie Beer – cook, writer and founder of ‘Maggie Beer Products’, offers tastings and sales of her full product range including limited edition seasonal produce. Here you can browse amongst her personally selected regional specialty goods, purchase one of her signed books or simply sit back and take in the view. Next a visit to Saltram Wine Estate for cellar door tasting. Later on arrival at Lambert Estate at Angaston, we will enjoy a structured wine tasting whilst sampling local seasonal produce from gourmet platters. Main course follows, and is a feast for the senses, with two signature dishes, salad and vegetables. Leaving Lambert Estate, travel to Mengler Hill Lookout for sweeping views over the valley and then onto Tanunda for free time to explore this European style town. Our final stop for the day is Jacob's Creek Visitor Centre for a vinyard tour and tasting a great way to finish off our Barossa Food and Wine Experience.

Day 5 - Wednesday 6 April 2022
Adelaide - Melbourne (B)
This morning we have a chance for some last minute shopping or sightseeing before transferring to the Airport to check in for our homeward flight to Melbourne arriving in late afternoon.
