TIPPING
Local tipping is customary and appreciated. Sisterhood Womens Travel tipping system on all Group Tours involves passengers contributing to a kitty which is paid to the tour hostess at the beginning of the tour who then distributes it daily to service providers on your behalf. This avoids the need for you to consider individual tipping situations daily throughout your trip. The estimated amount for your tour is EUR50 and this will confirmed in your final documentation.
As of 01st January 2018 a new overnight tax applies, which is paid on the spot, directly to the hotels . Please allow an average of EUR3 per room per day.

Day 1 - Sunday 27 August 2023
Melbourne - Athens
Welcome to Sisterhood Womens Travel! Meet with your Sisterhood Tour Hostess and fellow travellers at the Melbourne Airport for your flight to Athens.
Sit back, relax and enjoy the inflight entertainment of our airline as we make our way towards Greece.
Day 2 - Monday 28 August 2023
Welcome to Athens
Welcome to Athens, upon arrival this afternoon we'll be transferred to our accommodation with time to settle in before our welcome dinner tonight. Here's to our first night in Greece!

Day 3 - Tuesday 29 August 2023
Athens (B)
This morning we will be met by a guide and driver to enjoy a panoramic city tour including a visit to Acropolis. We will also have the opportunity to visit the city centre, the house of Parliament, National library, Temple of Olympian Zeus and the Panathenaic Stadium. After the tour we will be taken to our hotel with the rest of the day is at leisure for relaxation or further sightseeing. Tonight we'll regroup for dinner in the vibrant and popular Plaka Area.

Day 4 - Wednesday 30 August 2023
Athens - Santorini (B)
This morning after breakfast we will transfer to the airport for a short flight to the exotic island of Santorini . Upon arrival we will be transferred to our hotel. The romantic island of Santorini is said to be the most spectacular of the Greek Islands offering some of the most stunning sunsets in the world. The western side of the island is perched on a submerged volcano known as the Caldera. Amazing views can be seen over the cliffs of the shining blue Aegean Sea. Late this afternoon at 4.15pm we will meet with a local escort and depart for a tour of Pyrgos, Prophet Elias, the highest point of the island with panoramic views and Oia village where we will have the chance to watch the famous sunset.

Day 5 - Thursday 31 August 2023
Santorini (B,Tapas)
Today we'll enjoy a day of leisure for personal discovery and enjoy the many shopping and further sightseeing opportunities this beautiful island has to offer. Your tour hostess and hotel concierge will be happy to assist with any sightseeing suggestions.
Tonight, Greek weddings are known around the world for their fun and extravagance, but as we won't know any Greek people getting married we can still experience all the fun with the Greek Wedding Show. Staged in a centuries' old building, this show features singing, dancing, and traditional live music along with a traditional dinner of Greek tapas. We'll even get to break plates! Experience the fun of a Greek wedding with this interactive performance Dine on traditional Greek food, with vegetarian options available. Watch traditional dancing accompanied by live music Break plates, just like you would at a real wedding.

Day 6 - Friday 1 September 2023
Santorini (B)
Today after breakfast, we'll depart from our hotel and enjoy a Santorini Cooking Class. We'll learn how to cook superb Santorianian recipes with farm-to-table ingredients in a jovial atmosphere under the guidance of our Chef. We'll get to enjoy our delicious creations for lunch.
The remainder of your day is free to relax and soak up the surrounds of Santorini. Grab a friend and try a gyros for dinner, shop for more souvenirs, take pictures of this idyllic island, the choice is yours. Your tour hostess and hotel concierge will be happy to assist with any sightseeing.

Day 7 - Saturday 2 September 2023
Santorini - Mykonos (B)
After breakfast we'll enjoy a tour of the Archaeological Museum, before transferring to the port to the fast ferry the lively and vibrant island of Mykonos.
Next we transfer to the port to take the fast ferry to the lively, vibrant island of Mykanos. Welcome to Greece's most famous cosmopolitan island, a whitewashed paradise in the heart of the Cyclades. According to mythology, Mykonos was formed from the petrified bodies of giants killed by Hercules. And did you know that the island took its name from the grandson of Apollo, “Mykonos”? We'll have the next two nights to enjoy all that this gorgeous Greek Island has to offer and be sure to keep an eye out for Peter (Petros) the famous pelican who roams the streets of Mykonos and has been an integral part of this island for over 50 years. Day 8 - Sunday 3 September 2023
Mykonos (B)
Today is a free day to explore the beautiful greek island of Mykonos. Grab a friend and lose yourself for hours in the enchanting warren of narrow pedestrian streets bedecked with bougainvillea and lined with picture-perfect tiny churches, restaurants and boutiques. The Archaeological Museum is well worth your while, as is the informative Aegean Maritime Museum. The shopping in Mykonos is excellent! For art, check out Mavrogenous Street; Greek Designers line Matogliani while Little Venice is great for casual fashion, jewellery and tacky souvenirs. Hora’s other delights include an appealing open-air cinema, Cine Manto and a smattering of quirky art galleries, such as Rarity Gallery and Art & Soul Gallery.

Day 10 - Tuesday 5 September 2023
Athens - Skiathos (B, D)
This morning after breakfast and checkout we'll transfer to the port Mantoudi where the ferries leave for the Sporades Islands. Relax as we head towards the Mammia Mia island of Skiathos. See if you can recognise any of the beautiful scenery from the fabulous movie!

Day 11 - Wednesday 6 September 2023
Skiathos (B,D)
This morning after breakfast at our hotel before we depart on a fantastic day cruise to the island of Skopelos. We set sail aboard our boat Kalypso (or Mata Hari) from Skiathos port, cruising on a north-easterly course for the neighboring island of Skopelos. During the sail the guests will have the chance to see and take pictures from this very green side of the island. Kastani is the beautiful sandy beach on the islands’ west side, where “Mamma Mia” was filmed in 2007 and our first stop of the day.
A fantastic chance for swim, sunbathe and take photos on the “Mamma Mia” beach. From Kastani it’s just a short hop to the near and beautiful port of Panormos, in time for lunch at one of the beach tavernas. Of course there is going to be plenty of time available for everyone to relax under the sun or have his drinks during the 2 hour stay. Kalypso sets sail for the last destination of the day and maybe the most beautiful beach in Skopelos called Milia, just the ideal place to conclude the day.
Once back on board you enjoy the leisurely cruise back to Skiathos port. Snack-bar and toilets are available on board. We'll cruise back to Skiathos in time for dinner at tour hotel. This will be a day to remember!

Today after breakfast, we'll check out and take the ferry back to Athens. The remainder of the day is free for some last minute sightseeing or souvenir shopping. Tonight we will regroup for dinner at our hotel.

Day 14 - Saturday 9 September 2023
Athens - Dubai (B)
After breakfast we'll have time to enjoy our last day in Athens before our transfer to the airport for our flight to Dubai.

Day 15 - Sunday 10 September 2023
Dubai (B, D)
Today after breakfast, we'll have a morning Dubai City Tour including visits to the Al Seef area, Al Bastakiya, Dubai Museum, the Spice & Gold Souk and visit to the Sky View Observatory and Glass Slide.
This afternoon, we'll head out on our Heritage Desert Safari. The desert is the ideal venue for a magical and memorable evening. We'll enjoy a nature safari and falcon show before we arrive at our traditional Bedouin style camp where a delicious dinner and traditional entertainment awaits. We can also try a camel ride, breadmaking and coffeemaking.
Return late in the evening to our hotel.

Day 16 - Monday 11 September 2023
Dubai (B, L)
Today we'll escape the heat by enjoying a full day cruise on a Arabian dhow in Dibba (Oman) from Dubai, away from the busy city. We'll board a wooden dhow boat and sail through the Mussandam Dibba Sea. This full day cruise will give us the opportunity to capture the dramatic scenery view of Arabian Sea. While on board we'll have the opportunity to swim, snorkel, explore caves or simply relax on board with a buffet lunch.
A free evening tonight to explore Dubai. Perhaps enjoy a visit to the famous Dubai Fountain Show along the waterfront promenade.

Day 17 - Tuesday 12 September 2023

A free day to explore Dubai.
This afternoon, we'll be transferred to the Dubai Mall for shopping time and a visit to the observation deck on the 124th floor of the worlds tallest building before enjoying a special farewell dinner at the Atmosphere Restaurant. What a way to finish our fantastic adventure.

Day 18 - Wednesday 13 September 2023
Dubai - Melbourne (B)
This morning after breakfast we'll transfer to the Dubai Airport for our flight home to Melbourne.
