Local tipping is customary and appreciated. . Sisterhood Womens Travel tipping system on all Group Tours involves passengers contributing to a kitty which is paid to the tour hostess at the beginning of the tour who then distributes it daily to service providers on your behalf. This avoids the need for you to consider individual tipping situations daily throughout your trip. The estimated amount for your tour is EUR250 and this will confirmed in your final documentation.

Day 1 - Sunday 11 May 2025
Melbourne - Venice (Meals in Flight)
Welcome to Sisterhood Womens Travel.
Meet your fellow travellers at Melbourne Airport for your flight to Venice Italy.
Sit back, relax and enjoy the inflight entertainment of your airline as you head towards your next adventure.
Day 2 - Monday 12 May 2025
Welcome to Venice (D)
Upon arrival in Venice Airport, we will be met by the tour manager and transferred by private boat to the hotel for a 3-night stay.
There may be some walking involved however porters will deliver the bags to the hotel.
The remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 3 - Tuesday 13 May 2025
Venice Island (B)
This morning we'll do a walking tour of San Marco with a local guide. Explore the famous sites of Venice as you follow the guide through a romantic maze of backstreets to discover some of Venice’s hidden gems.
View St Mark’s Basilica, Doge’s Palace and the Bridge of Sighs. Learn the fascinating history of Venice as you wander through narrow alleys and over stone footbridges, and then hop aboard a Venetian gondola for a leisurely ride along the Grand Canal.
Some free time for shopping or exploring before returning to the hotel for the evening at leisure.

Day 4 - Wednesday 14 May 2025
Murano & Burano islands (B, L)
Today we board a private taxi and visit the small islands of Murano and Burano. Discover the lacework of Burano, the famous Murano glass, the wonders of the lagoon and the romantic streets called “calli.”
Board a private taxi boat, visit a Murano glass factory and the Lace Museum
We'll have a typical lunch in Burano.
At the end of the visit, we return to the hotel for an evening at leisure.

Day 5 - Thursday 15 May 2025
Venice Island - Verona (B, D)
Transfer from the hotel in Venice to Tronchetto via private taxi boat the travel to Verona with a stop en-route for lunch (lunch at own expense).
Verona is a medieval town built on the Adige River and famous for being the setting of Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet”.
Dinner in a local restaurant tonight

Day 6 - Friday 16 May 2025
Verona (B)
Today we'll enjoy a half-day guided walking tour of Verona with a local guide.
View Arena di Verona and Piazza delle Erbe and take a visit to Juliet’s House.
Return to the hotel for the remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 7 - Saturday 17 May 2025
Verona – Milan – Hotel in Como (B, D)
This morning, we'll board our private coach, transfer to Milan city centre and enjoy a city tour of Milan with a local guide taking in the sights of Milan, viewing the Sforzesco Castle, Duomo di Milano and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II.
Visit the Last Supper if possible (subject to availability)
After the visit, transfer to our hotel in Como.
Tonight we'll have dinner in a local restaurant

Day 8 - Sunday 18 May 2025
Full day Como Lake (B)
Today we enjoy a guided visit of Como town.
Como town is located on the Italian-Swiss border, the town overlooks the southwest end of its lake and is surrounded by green ridge hills, resulting in unparalleled, natural scenery. Explore the town centre and take a walk on the lakefront. In the late morning, board a public ferry to Bellagio and visit the beautiful Villa Melzi.
In the afternoon, return to the hotel for the evening at leisure.

Day 9 - Monday 19 May 2025
Hotel in Como – Hotel in La Spezia (B, D)
After breakfast, we'll take a late morning transfer to our hotel in La Spezia
Free time to explore La Spezia

Day 10 - Tuesday 20 May 2025
La Spezia - Riomaggiore - Monterosso - La Spezia (B)
Today we explore the 5 Terre villages.
Take a cruise to Riomaggiore and the chance to walk on the famous Via dell’Amore (path of love) – this is flat, well paved and not too far – but still worth the short stroll.
Continue with the cruise along the coast past the Cinque Terre villages to Monterosso. Walk to the train station and board the train to La Spezia.
Return to the hotel for the evening at leisure.

Day 11 - Wednesday 21 May 2025
La Spezia - Lucca - Pisa - Florence (B, D)
Today, we'll transfer to Lucca for a walking tour of the historic centre with a local guide.
Walk on the vast encircling city walls, Puccini’s birthplace (stop to view only, no interior visit), the pretty church of San Michele, Piazza Napoleone and nearby Piazza del Giglio and the Romanesque cathedral. Take in Via Fillungo, the most prestigious shopping street with its medieval buildings and towers, including the Torre Guinigi.
Continue to Pisa to view the Leaning Tower and then transfer to Florence.

Day 12 - Thursday 22 May 2025
Florence - Vinci - Florence (B)
Today, we'll take a half day panoramic city tour with a local guide including the historical centre, Duomo, Baptistery gates, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Palazzo Vecchio, Medici Palace & Tombs and Ponte Vecchio.
Entrance to the Accademia includes a view of the statue of David by Michelangelo. In the afternoon travel to Vinci, the one-time home of Leonardo Da Vinci.
This evening is at leisure.

Day 13 - Friday 23 May 2025
Florence (B,S)
This morning enjoy a locally guided food tour of Florence while strolling the quaint Florentine streets. Discover what makes Tuscan food unique.
Tastings include tortellini, mortadella, parmiggiano, prosciutto and more.
Return to the hotel for the remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 14 - Saturday 24 May 2025
Florence – Reggello – San Gimignano (B, D)
Travel by coach to Reggello, in the Florentine mountains and the Vallombrosa Woods among abbeys and incredible castles. We'll visit an olive oil producer for a tour and tasting. The olive groves in Reggello have been growing since the 14th century.
Continue to San Gimignano for a walking tour of this ‘Medieval Manhattan’ with a local guide.
Transfer to the hotel with dinner at hotel restaurant

Day 15 - Sunday 25 May 2025
San Gimignano - Siena - San Gimignano (B, D)
Travel by coach to Siena, Italy’s loveliest medieval city. Enjoy an afternoon walking tour of Siena with a local guide. View Piazza del Campo, Duomo of Siena (entrance fee is included) and Torre del Mangia. After the visit, stop at a vineyard for a tour and tasting session. return to your hotel in San Gimignano area.

Day 16 - Monday 26 May 2025
San Gimignano - Orvieto - Rome (B, D)
Today we travel by coach to Orvieto, perched on a rock cliff in Umbria. Visit a local wine producer for a wine, cheese and charcuterie tasting.
Enjoy time at leisure in Orvieto before continuing to Rome.

Day 17 - Tuesday 27 May 2025
Rome - Vatican - Rome (B)
Enjoy a half day guided city tour on a local coach with a local guide of the Vatican taking in the Vatican museum and the Sistine chapel (headsets included), then a short tour of St. Peters Basilica.
Return to the hotel for the remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 18 - Wednesday 28 May 2025
Rome (B)
This morning embark on a half-day guided tour of Rome taking in the main sights of the city including, Via Veneto, Piazza della Republica, Via Nazionale, Palazzo della Esposozioni, the world-famous Trevi Fountain, Via del Corso, visit to the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Roman Forums, Imperial Forums, Piazza Venezia with the Tomb to the Unknown Soldier and a stop to view the Colosseum (no internal visit).
The remainder of the day will be at leisure.

Today is at leisure to relax or explore Rome on your own.

A morning at leisure before we bid Arrivederci to Italy and head home.
You will be met and transferred to Rome Airport for the onward flight.

Arrive Melbourne
