Welcome to our Pop Up French Experience. Join your Sisterhood Hostess and fellow travellers at the Melbourne Airport for your flight to Paris.
Sit back, relax and enjoy the in flight hospitalilty, and entertainment, as we head towards Paris.
Day 2 - Saturday 28 April 2018

Today we arrive in Paris, check into our hotel, refresh, get your bearings, and have the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 3 - Sunday 29 April 2018
Paris (B)
Our first day in Paris! City of Love - City of Light and International Fashion Captial. As one of the world's most vibrant, sophisticated, cultured and cosmopolitan cities, Paris offers something for everyone. We begin our day's discovery of Paris enjoying a City Tour, relaxing Seine River Cruise, and finishing off with a lovely lunch at the Eiffel Tower.
Afternoon at leisure to explore a variety of world-class museums, galleries and iconic buildings. Browse high-end boutiques and historic markets, and savour a multitude of cafes and eateries.
Dinner at leisure tonight, (own expense). A great opportunity, take a friend and explore the local eateries.
Day 4 - Monday 30 April 2018
Paris (B)
Today we are free to explore Paris at leisure.
Included during our Paris stay is a 48 hour "hop on hop off" bus pass, 3 zone metro rail pass and a 2 day Museum pass.
The perfect way to continue our Paris Experience with the "hop on hop off" pass to see Paris from the top of an open double decker bus. Stops include Champs Elysees, Notre Dame, The Louvre, Eiffel Tower and many more iconic landmarks.
The Metro Rail Pass gives us unlimited metro and bus travel within the designated zones of Paris.
The 2 Day Museum Pass opens the doors to over 60 museums and monuments around Paris.

Day 5 - Tuesday 1 May 2018

Continue to explore Paris with our included passes. Have you visited the largest Museum in the world? The Louvre includes medival fortress, an Egyptian department and of course Mona Lisa? What about Notre Dame, which is easily accessible with your "hop on hop off" pass? Or maybe you can just enjoy watching the daily Parisian street life.

Day 6 - Wednesday 2 May 2018
Paris - Beaune (B)
Au Revoir Paris! This morning we will travel to the Burgundy Region by 2nd class rail to the French village of Beaune.
Situation in the very heart of France in the famous wine producing region of Burgundy, Beaune provides a truly authentic French experience for first time and returning visitors alike.
Upon arrival we will be transferred to our accommodation to check in with an afternoon at leisure.
Our accommodation is at the Henry 11 Hotel. A transformed 16th century coach house in the centre of the old town, close to the Hospices de Beaune. Enjoy your charming room with its beautiful antique furntiure.

Day 7 - Thursday 3 May 2018
Beaune (B, L)
After breakfast included today is a "Around Beaune - Cote de Nuits" tour. We start by discovering the Grans Crus area and a guided tour of Chateau Clos de Vougeot. Visit Nuits-Saint-Georges. Join a dog led truffle hunt then enjoy a wine tasting. This is followed by lunch sampling local products (drinks included). Afternoon tasting at a wine maker's house with Crands Crus wines.

Day 8 - Friday 4 May 2018
Beaune - Avignon (B)
After our arrival in Avignon, we settle into hotel, relax, refresh and spend the remainder of the day exploring the area. Avignon, is nicknamed "the city of Popes" owing to the 7 successive popes thathave lived there, and was for a while the capital of the western medieval world. Today it is a prestigious culture centre, home of Van Gogh and the Luberon regions filled with the iconic lavender fields and some of the most beautiful Provencal villages.

Day 9 - Saturday 5 May 2018
Avignon (B)
After breakfast included today is a "All Of Provence in One Day" Tour which takes in Avignon, Pont du gard, Les Baux-de-Provence, Saint-Remy-de-provence, Luberon lavender region, Roussillon, Gordes, the Senanque Abbey, the Lavender Museum and more.
This is a fantastic way to experience the most beautiful sights of Provence.

Day 10 - Sunday 6 May 2018
Avignon (B)
Today is a free day to explore. Perhaps discover some of the scenery that inspired Van Gough. Enjoy some shopping time, browse the cafes and eateries. Discover the famous "foodie" market of Avignon Les Halles, or visit the Palais des Paps (the Pope's Palace) for a history experience in Avignon.
Try a new dinner experience tonight with friends.
Day 11 - Monday 7 May 2018
Avignon - Aix-en-Provence (B)
After breakfast we depart Avignon by 2nd class rail and arrive in Aix-en-Provence where we are transferred to our hotel. Rest, relax and spend the rest of day exploring this quaint little town. Here you will find left bank Parisian chic deep in Provence with it's leafy boulevardes and public squares, lined with 17th and 18th century mansions.

Day 12 - Tuesday 8 May 2018
Aix-en-Provence (B)
Aix-en-Provence is a haven for market lovers, so today will be a great time to explore the "big" market showcasing textiles, handicrafts and antiques. This market operates from 8 am to 1 pm
Other sightseeing for the day could be people watching along the Cours Mira Beau, a visit to the famous french painter Cezanne's studio, which showcases his life and works. For the garden lovers take your pick of the Pavillon de Vendome, or Jardin S de Romegas.

Day 13 - Wednesday 9 May 2018
Aix-en-Provence (B)
After breakfast time to start our gourmet walking tour in the historical center of Aix en Provence. Thanks to this guided tour, we will be able to discover this charming provencal town and also to please ourselves with the diversified scents and flavours of our region. we will meet our English speaking guide in front of Apple Store in Aix en Prove
Let your senses be amazed by the colors and the smells of several local products, be tempted by some Calisson, the sweetest candy of all time created in Aix en Provence, appreciate a toast of green or black tapenade, taste a piece of cheese or a glass of wine from one of the local wine appellations.
Everything is organized in order to allow us to discover what Provencal gastronomy truly means. End of the tour is in the old town.

Day 14 - Thursday 10 May 2018
Aix-en-Provence - Nice (B)
After breakfast today we board the train (2nd class) to Nice. Nice and beyond in the French Rivera, which is also known at the Cote D'Azur, is a string of beautiful towns along the Mediterranean sea. The area offers a wide range of experiences from coastal attractions to charming perched villages off the beaten track.

After breakfast today we will enjoy a day exploring Nice and surrounds on a "City Tour". We will visit the Castel Park overlooking the Bay of Angels and Old Town, site of the trading town founded by the Greeks 2600 years ago. Our tour follows along the harbour where we can admire the Turin style buildings.
Afternoon at leisure to shop and explore the many souvenier opportunities and sample some local food in the cafes and eateries.
Day 16 - Saturday 12 May 2018
Nice (B)
Take advantage of our last day in Nice. Shopping with plenty of boutique option. Take a stroll down the sun splashed Promenade des Anglais, considered to be the most famous sea front in France, or take this special opportunity to swim in the cool blue waters of the Mediterranean sea.
Tonight we will regroup to share our day's exploring experience and enjoy a "Farewell Dinner" (own cost) to celebrate the end of an amazing adventure.
Day 17 - Sunday 13 May 2018
Nice - Melbourne (Meals Inflight)
A leisurely morning check out before our flight home. Once on board, sit back and relax and enjoy the in flight entertainment and hospitality of our airlines as we continue our journey home.
