Day 1 - Friday 19 May 2023
Melbourne - Werribee - Queenscliff (D)
Welcome to Sisterhood Womens Travel. Meet your Sisterhood hostess and fellow travellers at the T intersection of Lonsdale & Spencer Street, Melbourne for our fun 3 day getaway to Queenscliff. Queenscliff is surrounded on three sides by water, giving the town large stretches of coastline, consisting of a combination of sandy beaches, rocky outcrops, cliffs and historic piers. At Shortlands Bluff is the Queenscliff Lighthouse which was built in 1862 and includes a lookout near the base. Further north along the coast is the Black Lighthouse, unique in Australia, having been constructed from bluestone.
On our way to Queenscliff, we'll stop in at historic Werribee Mansion for a visit. Here we'll experience the grandeur of the mansion and explore the formal gardens and marvel at the expansive manicured landscape, intricately designed grotto and ornamental lake.
Travelling to Queenscliff, we'll check into the Sea View Inn for our 2 night stay, relax and unwind before enjoying dinner at 360Q an iconic dining 2 storey venue situated nicely on the waterfront.

Day 2 - Saturday 20 May 2023
Queenscliff - Sorrento - Blues Train (D)
Today, after breakfast, we'll have the chance to explore the seaside hamlet of Queenscliff including the Queenscliff Historical Museum and the string of boutique shops of Hesse Street. We'll then head to the harbour to board the ferry to Sorrento to explore all that this popular seaside place has to offer. With time for lunch and a browse, even a relax by the beach, before we head back to Queenscliff to freshen up before our main event - The Blues Train! With dinner included, we'll travel along the scenic heritage Bellarine Railway making our way through 4 carriages dancing and enjoying blues and jazz music. A fun night to remember.
At the end of the night we'll be transferred back to our hotel.

Day 3 - Sunday 21 May 2023
Queenscliff - Point Lonsdale - Ocean Grove (L)
This morning, after breakfast & checkout, we'll travel to neaby Point Lonsdale. The major landmark in town is the lighthouse situated at the tip of Point Lonsdale, which was built in 1902. Walking tracks circle the lighthouse and extend down the rocky headland to the beach below. Just north of the lighthouse is the Point Lonsdale Pier which is a popular spot for fishing and a good vantage point for taking in views of the lighthouse and surrounding coastline.
After our visit we'll head to Ocean Grove for a delicious lunch at Dunes a lovely restaurant right on the beach, before we head back to Melbourne.
