We will explore the town before visiting the Tasmanian Gourmet Sauce Company for tastings, lunch and a garden tour.
Afterwards, enjoy a city sights tour around Launceston. Take in the magnificent Cataract Gorge, with its cliff-side gardens,
peacocks, pools, suspension footbridge and one of the longest single-span chairlifts in the world (ride is optional and at your own
expense). Enjoy a stroll through the beautifully manicured City Park before checking in to our centrally located hotel, The
Hotel Grand Chancellor.
Dinner is included tonight.

Day 2 - Monday 17 November 2025
Launceston (B, L, D)
This morning, we will follow the Tamar River, Australia’s longest navigable tidal estuary, which meanders through the heart of cool climate vineyards, orchards, and hamlets. We take in the magnificent views from bush-ranger Brady’s Lookout before stopping at Seahorse World; here we visit a working seahorse farm which will give us unique access to these magical creatures.
We then travel across the unique A-frame Batman Bridge via a famous Tamar Valley Winery called Pipers Brook. Enjoy a tasting (at your expense) or wander the winery and gardens. Next, we travel to the seaside village of Bridport in Tasmania's North-East. Our lunch venue is perched atop a coastal dune with spectacular views of Barnbougle, the world-renowned golf course, and coastline.
We will next tour past agricultural Scottsdale and onto the famous Bridestowe Estate Lavender Farm. Typically, the lavender blooms in December/January but you may be in luck to see this earlier or at least enjoy one of the many lavender products. Afterwards, we will travel back to Launceston for some relaxation before dinner.
